I hope you celebrated Pi Day! Yes this is a real thing! Or at least I've always thought it was... although only a couple of people at work knew what I was talking about and I work with a bunch of science peoples. I have no doubt that everyone in my family baked a pie on Wednesday March 14. But did you start it at 1:59? And did you bake 2 pies for 65 minutes at 358 degrees? And cut 9 slits in one and 7 in the other and eat it at 9:32pm.

Yea for Pi day. I wimped out and bought a pie this year, but it was an amazingly good pie from Gizdich ranch called Very Berry with Boysenberries, Raspberries and Olallieberries. Gizdich pies are quite good.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely celebrated! There are enough engineering grad students here that we to a big party with a pie eating contest and everything. Good job for taking the nerdiness out to 18 digits.
