We did our first harvest! True it's a small little garden but we got enough for a green salad and tabbouleh fixings. Now if only the tomato plants were big enough to grow some tomatoes. I can hardly wait!
Wow! I thought it was still winter in Utah! It is always such a satisfying thing to eat food that you've grown yourself. Good job, Julie. And, healthy eating to you.
I'm jealous of your harvest. I don't have anything to harvest yet. I love fresh basil. I do have fresh rosemary at my office. They have rosemary shrubs all over and it smells really good, especially because the gardeners just trimmed all of them.
Oh wow! Those look so pretty and green. We need to do a salad when we have our barbecue.
ReplyDeleteI love fresh basil and fresh greens.

ReplyDeleteFirst harvests are so much fun. Fresh picked letuce is really tender and tasty.
